A practical Mac workflow with Life Years Left
A countdown can be useful when you want a quick view of your plan during work. Set a life plan and choose weeks as your display. Open at Login starts the app when you sign in, so you can check the number from your menu bar.
When you want the bigger picture, open the life calendar. Each square covers seven days in your selected plan. You can replace the estimate with a target age or a custom range whenever a different frame is more useful.
The app saves the chosen end date. The countdown moves towards that target; it does not silently calculate a new life expectancy each day.
What the Death Clock service describes

What are you trying to keep track of?
For a life calendar, decide whether you want a statistical baseline or a target you choose. Life Years Left offers both, plus a local Longevity guide. For a health service, examine how its advice is delivered, what it costs and how it handles your answers.
A more detailed questionnaire can still produce an uncertain date. Our research guide explains the gap between mortality associations and a personal prediction. To try the simpler baseline, email yourself a free death clock estimate.
