Terms of use
Updated 6 October 2026
These terms cover the Life Years Left website and Mac app. Estimates are statistical planning scenarios.
Using the website and app
These terms cover the Life Years Left website and native Mac app. Use the service responsibly and submit an email address you control. Do not send unsolicited result emails or interfere with the service.
Estimates and research
The death clock calculator uses population life tables under the source period's mortality rates. The Mac Longevity guide uses research associations with disclosed app assumptions. Neither is a clinically validated personal death prediction or medical advice. A displayed calendar date does not imply accuracy to a day. Do not use it to make medical decisions or other decisions that depend on a reliable personal prediction.
Published studies and links are provided for context. Products mentioned in comparisons belong to their respective makers. Our guides are written by the maker of Life Years Left. They use verified product descriptions rather than independent clinical tests.
Email results and release updates
Enter your email to receive your free calculator result. Your estimate is emailed to you and shown on the page.
App release updates are optional and separately indicated. You can ask support to remove a registration or stop updates. The privacy policy describes the data handling.
Availability and changes
The native app requires macOS 13 or later. Public release links, app features and services can change. We may update the app and website from time to time. The public App Store download link is being prepared; website registration is not a software purchase.
